Perfect for families or groups looking for basic instruction, this trip will get you started on your fly fishing journey. On our Learn to Fly Fish Trip, our guides will introduce you to all aspects of the sport and help you put the fundamentals to practice on the Ausable River.

  • Introductions to the basic fundamentals of equipment, river conditions, hatches, techniques, and everything you need to get started
  • Your very own dedicated and experienced Adirondack fly fishing guide throughout the trip to help increase your experience level and teach you the ropes
  • Wader, rod, reel, and flies – everything you’ll need for your lesson is included in the price
  • Our guides are available to suit your schedule, although prime fishing times are best and we will gladly suggest them.
